We believe that you, as a consumer, are no longer passive to the will of manufacturers and retailers. Instead, when you are empowered to do so, you will determine how you purchase products and services based on your individual needs.

Therefore, CentrSource has been designed to recognize and encourage this control -- providing greater choice, absolute security, complete convenience and total satisfaction. CentrSource creates an environment that lets you shop freely, based on your individual needs.

There are many online 'malls' which only give you access to a specific list of preferred manufacturers and merchants. We believe this puts unreasonable limits on your choice. CentrSource is a free market. It will be operated for the benefit of you, the consumer. It will strive to afford access to the most complete selection of goods and services. Any merchant or manufacturer that agrees to abide by the principles outlined in this Charter is free to offer their goods and services for sale on our site. Their continued presence will be based on their on-going business conduct.

Some online purchase sites capture personal data, then sell it or share it with other merchants and marketers. This may be of great benefit to merchants, but we think it’s an unwarranted invasion of your privacy.

We will protect your private information from all inappropriate attempts to capture data regarding your purchase behaviour. Providing you with the privacy and security protection you deserve is our mandate. So if and when information is requested of you, participation is strictly voluntary. Purchase information held by CentrSource will ONLY be used to your advantage - when you request it.

When purchase information is handed-off to a Merchant (like an on-line book retailer for example), the information requested will only be commensurate with the nature of the request. For example, if you simply print a coupon, no personal information will be passed along to the advertiser. If you ask for a sales agent to call you, your name and phone number will be passed along.

The convenience of Internet commerce has slowly and increasingly become a complicated online navigation processes, structured to entangle shoppers and extract their personal data. From its inception, CentrSource has been created to help you get where you want to go and do what you want to do as quickly as electronically possible. You register once, and are then forever able to purchase, comparison shop or gather information without resistance or delay. Though a full range of services are available -- product reports, loyalty programs, discount plans and more -- you will always choose your level of involvement or lack of involvement.
